Final field trip for Leading on Rock course. Climb is on Castle Rock Sabre Route. Students must be prepared to lead multi-pitch trad route.

Meet in parking area at roadside parking lot for the Castle Rock trail-head - be fully prepared to leave parking and hike to base of climb at 6:30 am.  Date subject to change based on permitting.  Time also subject to change based on conditions.  

Culmination of intermediate leading on rock course. Multi-pitch trad climb.

Helmet, harness and climbing shoes.

Sufficient draws and trad protection for the subject route (if you do not have trad gear or enough of what you want you can get that from a climb lead).
