Forget easy trails—welcome to the Hayduke, 860 miles of raw, untamed Southwest wilderness from Moab to Zion. This isn't a marked path; it's a brutal, exhilarating test of navigation, endurance, and self-sufficiency across canyon lands and remote plateaus, linking six iconic national parks: Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, and Zion. Join international adventurer David Burdick in this Mountaineers Walking the Wild presentation as he shares his 860-mile adventure, completed in three sections, through this unique and wild trek, including stories and  photos along with information about the route and how you can plan and complete this extraordinary route yourself!

The presentation will begin promptly at 7PM and end at 8:30PM with time for Q&A. The event will be held on zoom. An advance ticket will be required to receive the zoom link to join the presentation - you can get your ticket below!  Be sure to sign up at least one day in advance,  so the committee can send you the zoom link.  We cannot guarantee that you will receive the presentation information if you sign up last minute.

You can attend with a free ticket, but we hope that you will purchase a $10 or $20 ticket which will help The Mountaineers Foothills and Seattle Branches continue to deliver their volunteer-led hiking and backpacking programs, including events like this one! We hope you will join us!
