Back by popular demand:  the eighth in our series of virtual online pajama parties for Mountaineers backpackers and anyone else who loves to learn about or drool over pictures from the best backpacking routes in our fine state!   Put on your comfy jammies, grab a beverage and snack, and join us from 7 to 8:30 for slides, route info and details on how to plan your own trip!

First, Eileen Miller will be back with another gorgeous slide show plus route details and logistics suggestions for from the Chelan Summit trail, a 38 mile high altitude ridgetop trail between Lake Chelan drainage and the Methow River valley - a long and challenging hike but one packed with flower filled meadows, rugged peaks, high alpine lakes, golden larches and the North Cascades at your door step.   Then Cheryl Talbert will bring you on a photo journey with maps and logistics information about a three-day loop in a gorgeous section of the Glacier Peak Wilderness starting from the North Fork Sauk river trailhead, climbing to the PCT at White Pass, and winding south with glorious views of this shy volcano before crossing to a lovely secluded lake basin and then back to the North Fork Sauk along a ridge with panoramic views of the Monte Cristo peaks.

Beginning two days before the event we will email the instructions and link to join the zoom call.

To encourage donations to the Mountaineers during this time of extreme financial difficulty, we are providing opportunities for participants in our popular event series to donate as they reserve their spot at the event (you will also continue to have the option to get a free 'ticket' if you don't choose to donate).  If you'd like to offer a donation to help us continue to support our volunteer-led programs and our conservation and youth mission, please go to the link at the button below.  Those who have already RSVPd to the event may also donate by clicking on the button below and choosing one of the donation options.  You do NOT need to click on the button if you RSVP here and do not choose to donate..

i'd like to donate!

Upcoming Mountaineers Backpackers Pajama Parties:

* June 19:  David Skurnik will be presenting two epic circumnavigations of local peaks:  Mount Margaret (near St Helens) and Mount Adams!  Don't miss it!
