Hike this subalpine trail with sweeping views and flourishing with wildflowers. From Sheep Lake we will climb a little higher to Sourdough Gap, a small saddle with views of the South Cascades. You don't want to miss this one!

This trail is near Ashford, which means a longer drive. Those who join will have to start very early in the morning to arrive by 8 am, as this trailhead gets full fast. It's worth the extra effort!

All 10 Essentials required. It's an exposed trail, so hats, sunscreen and sunglasses are a must! It's also rocky and dry in places, so sturdy boots/hiking shoes required and poles highly recommended.
