Lecture: Conditioning for Hiking and Backpacking Level II

Conditioning for Hiking and Backpacking - Indoor Fundamentals - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

In this first session in the series of four, we will be indoors learning a hiker-backpacker-focused set of exercises. We will review level I exercises and then move into the level II exercises. You will be encouraged to self select exercises based on your current fitness level. The remainder of the grouping of sessions will be outdoors at Lower Woodland Park of Seattle and St. Edward's State Park of Kenmore. We will incorporate the exercises we learned indoors with hill interval training and more to improve your strength and endurance for your future hikes and backpacking adventures. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
