At this zoom-based clinic backpackers will learn helpful tips, get exposed to handy online and digital tools and carry away some handy templates and skills to select a destination, get necessary information about topography, water, camps, access, seasonal trail conditions and weather, and develop a trip plan including transportation, gear, food, water and emergency alternatives. This seminar covers more advanced topics for students who feel ready to start planning their own backpack trips - NOT REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION!
This seminar will be held on zoom, and will begin promptly at 6:30PM, ending at approx 830PM. The link to join the seminar will be sent out a week before the session. A full-screen laptop or tablet are necessary to get the full value from the materials to be presented.
