Backpacking Building Blocks Student-Only Backpack - Hoh River to Olympus Ranger Station

This field trip will give B3 students the opportunity to try out gear and new skills on an easy overnight backpack with an experienced mentor.

Hoh Rainforest Visitor Center, Saturday  May 13th 10:30 AM

Any B3 students are welcome to join us.

This will be a relatively easy overnight trip along the Hoh river. 

We will hike close to 10 miles each way on fairly flat, shaded terrain along the river.  We will aim for a conversational 2mph pace, enjoying the beautiful rainforest on our way to camp.  Once at camp, we can relax and explore the beautiful river.  We will be at a group camp site with a privy.

Please plan to reimburse the leader $9 for camping reservation fees.
