WTA link to East Bank Baker Lake here.

There are bear lockers at campsites, so no need for a bear canister. An Ursack or similar is suggested in case the campsites are full and we need to disperse camp.

Depending on the weather and the group's eagerness/morale, we can add a day-hike to see Big Doug - The largest known Douglas Fir in the Cascades. This day hike adds 5 miles, with about 1200ft of gain. Day 1 would be 11.5 miles (about half of it with a day pack only).

Rain or shine!

Inclement weather will cancel the trip; constant precipitation that leads to 1 inch of rain per day, sustained high winds, or wind gusts that make it dangerous to be in a tent close to trees.
