The Final Assessment is online and is estimated to take up to 2 hours. Students have 30 days to complete and must pass the final exam with an 80% or higher.

Online from the comforts of your own home on your own time within 30 days upon receiving Base Medical online Final Assessment details.

Log-in details to the Base Medical online Final Assessment will be shared via email within 24-48 hours after successfully passing the in-person practical training.

This is the third part of the Wilderness First Responder Course. It can only be accessed if Parts 1 and 2 have been successfully completed.

Students have 30 days to complete the Final Assessment and will need to score 80% or higher to pass. You are permitted to retake the exam, so long as you do so in the original 30 day window.

No refunds will be provided for students who either do not complete the Final Assessment within 30 days, or who do not pass the Final Assessment with a score of 80% or higher and elect not to retake it.

Upon receiving notification that students have passed the Final Assessment and have been awarded the Low-Impact Recreation badge, the leader will graduate students from the course and award them the Wilderness First Responder badge. Students will also have the option of generating a Base Medical Wilderness First Aid certificate or card, which is valid 2 years from date of issue.
