This route will cover Deception Pass, both north and south of the bridge. It has gorgeuos views on well-maintained trails, and is similar to the Deception Pass 25/50K.

This is a long run, so please be sure you have done similar distances recently. We will follow a mostly counter-clockwise loop for ~14 1/2 miles total distance with 2,527 ft elevation gain. We will look to do an avg pace of 4 mph: fast hike uphill and 4.5-5.0 mph straighaway and downhill. The course lets us loop back around the halfway point through our parking spot, so we'll have an opportunity to restock fuel and water, as well as make clothing adjustments. I like to enjoy long runs, so picture taking, snack eating, and general shenanigans are expected!
