This is a casual run through a few trails in Carkeek Park, covering ~4.5 miles and 834 feet of elevation gain.

Meet at 5:50 PM in the south end of the park at the Eddie McAbbie Entrance. Parking is limited at this entrance, but you can park at the QFC across the street. After introductions and quick discussion, plan to start running at 6PM. Bathrooms in the park and at the QFC store.

Please wear layers of breathable, technical clothing suitable for outdoor aerobic activities for this course's activities.

  • Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses; running-specific gaiters recommended
  • Warm mid-weight layer (e.g. down vest or wool long sleeve)
  • Trail running shoes
  • A small day pack suitable for trail running
  • Bring snacks and water
