Intro to Frontcountry Trail Running - Tiger Mountain Lowlands

Learn and practice trail running skills at a local frontcountry trail.

Place: 578 SE Evans St. (North of the high school at the end of Evans Street where it changes from asphalt to gravel.)  
Time: 6:45 PM for introductions. On trail and running by 7:00 PM.

No parking pass required.

There are no restrooms at this trailhead. There is a vault toilet at our approximate 1/2 way point.

Starting down by the high school we will run a half mile warm-up on The Rainier Trail, followed by a quarter mile power hike up the Puget Power Trail to gain the plateau. Once on the plateau we'll be running a clockwise loop around Tradition Lake on, Big Tree Trail, Swamp Trail, W Tiger 3 Trail, Bus Trail, Powerline  and High School Trail back down to The Rainier Trail and to our start.

Capacity will be adjusted in accordance with current public health guidance and Mountaineers COVID-19 policy.
