East Tiger parking lot, meet at 6:45 am for meet and greet and shoes on trail no later than 7 am. Discover Pass is required. 


Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Permit Information

Note to trip leaders: because this is DNR land and a permit is required, you cannot change the date of this field trip. You're welcome to change the location to another route that isn't DNR land if you need to change the date.

Note to trip leader(s) and participants: please look for a communication from The Mountaineers about your participation in this field trip. This is part of the permit from the Washington State Department of Natural Resources that was required to hold this field trip in this location.

Please wear layers of breathable, technical clothing suitable for outdoor aerobic activities.

  • Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses, gaiters are recommended.
  • Trail running shoes
  • A small day pack 
  • Bring snacks and water.
