Intro to Frontcountry Trail Running - Grand Ridge Park (Snoqualmie)

Learn and practice trail running skills at a local frontcountry trail. Focus: navigating pre-set route.

We will meet at Central Park, at the the of the road, by the soccer field: 1907 NE Park Dr, Issaquah, WA 98029 at 7:45AM. We'll start with a quick warm up and be ready to run at 8AM.  I will send more  meeting and route details in my email. 

This session focuses on skill-building: reading and navigating  a pre-set route. 

You will be asked to navigate on the run, using this route map, to stay on course in a place that has crossing trails.  

NOTE: this run can vary from 4 to 5mi. 

A suggested gear list will be provided at the classroom session.

  • Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses, gaiters are recommended.
  • Trail running shoes
  • A small day pack 
  • Bring snacks and water.
