This course teaches trail maintenance safety precautions, selection and safe use of tools, trail maintenance standards, how you can contribute to Lookout and Trail Maintenance events, and evaluates a candidate against the Stewardship standards.

Trail Maintenance Crew Leader Training uses remote and in-person learning to communicate leader expectations, technical concepts, terminology, safety briefing, job hazard analysis, emergency action plan, and use of tools to improve trail conditions.
