Seeking Volunteer Videos!

We're in the final stages of creating a short video history of The Mountaineers showing who we are, where we've come from, and what we stand for today. We need one final piece to round out our project: instructional videos from our volunteer leaders!

As a course or activity leader, do you have video of someone instructing? This could be teaching someone how to belay, tie a knot, or reef a line. Or maybe you have video demonstrating crevasse rescue techniques or executing the perfect kayak roll. If you've taught it, and have it on film, we want it!

We don't need anything fancy either. Video recorded on your iPhone or point-and-shoot camera or any type of device really will do just fine.

To get involved, please upload your raw footage to any place convenient for you (drop box, google drive, etc.) and share it with our videographer Mike Short () and our staff project lead Kristina Ciari (). They'll pull down the footage and use it from there.

We can't promise you anything in return, only the hope that we can use your video and you'll get a little bit of fame (not fortune). Of course we will send you our best wishes for a lifetime of adventure!

Please submit anything you have asap! The deadline for video submissions is midnight on April 5!
