One Last Auction Surprise: A Cabin Stay in Plain, WA, and a Signed Reinhold Messner Book

For your final auction surprises we’re adding two more items to round out our 50+ packages. One will appeal to mountaineering history buffs, and the other will call to anyone who could use a two-night getaway in the woods (but why not win both and read your new book at the cabin!).

Two-Night Cabin Stay in Plain, WA

We’ve all learned over the last five months that you can get cabin fever anywhere. And, ironically, the best cure for cabin fever right now might be escaping to a cabin!

With this package you will get two nights at the Painted Pony cabin in Plain, WA, located just twenty minutes outside of Leavenworth. The cabin has two beds, one bath, and can sleep up to four adults and one child (window bed). There is also a full kitchen, fire pit, and a hot tub.

The town of Plain is in the heart of many incredible recreation sites - the Enchantments, Glacier Peak Wilderness, and Blewett Pass - affording you many opportunities to hike, ski, climb, or just relax. As a bonus, the cabin is dog friendly!

And with your new The North Face 45L Stratoliner clamshell suitcase, hauling along any gear and clothing won't be a problem.

A Celebration of Spirits: Signed Reinhold Messner Book

Reinhold Messner is one of the most acclaimed climbers in mountaineering history, with accomplishments including the first ascent of Everest without supplemental oxygen and being the first climber to ascend all fourteen peaks over 8,000 meters above sea level.

With this signed 1991 first edition copy of Messner’s hardback book Free Spirit, published by Mountaineers Books, you can read all about the forces and events that shaped him as a climber.

To keep in the motif of “spirits,” this package also includes a Heritage Distilling Co. Batch No. 12 Gin Rickey Cocktail set, including all the ingredients to make a rosemary gin rickey at home. This also comes with four complimentary tasting cards that are redeemable at any Heritage Distilling Co. tasting room.
