10 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:

WHAT FIRST BROUGHT YOU TO THE MOUNTAINEERS?

I was trying to get more technical climbs (mostly Rainier) and a friend took the Alpine Scrambling Course and brought The Mountaineers up. Later while hiking on Mt. Rose, I met a couple who were volunteering at The Mountaineers who recommended I taking the Basic Climbing Course.

WHY DO YOU LIKE GETTING OUTSIDE WITH US?

To learn new skills, to meet like-minded people, and listen to their exotic adventures.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOUNTAINEERS MEMORY?

The first time I did alpine rock on Lundin Peak. I didn't know I could do that but it turned out to be a cruise when going out with the right people who are patient, caring, and willing to share.

WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

The crazy climbers who dare to free solo the hardest routes, who do first ascents. They just make me realize humans have such potential.

WHAT DOES ADVENTURE MEAN TO YOU?

To push the limits and embrace the unknown (and get back safe).

LIGHTNING ROUND

Sunrise or sunset? Sunrise
What's your 11th Essential? A positive attitude and sense of humor even though things get tough
What's your happy place? Lying on the sofa after a long trip
Post-adventure meal of choice? Mostly Chipotle or Five Guys
If you could be a rockstar at any outdoor activity, what would it be? Wingsuit base jumping
