10 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:

Why do you participate in Mountaineers Youth Programs?

Because I want to have more confidence on climbing rocks and have something fun to do after school and it has done all of that.

What is your favorite Mountaineers memory?

Rappelling off The Mountaineers building's roof at Magnuson. I was a little scared, but everyone supported me and it was amazing!

What is your favorite outdoor activity and why?

Rock climbing and biking. Rock climbing is my favorite because you feel really connected to nature and it's exciting - you don't know what's going to happen next. Biking is my favorite because you're going through nature and you get to see everything.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone who wanted to spend more time outside, what would you say?

Be open-minded because the instructors know what they're doing and all they need from you is to try the activities, so really, that's not that much to ask, and if you do, it's amazing.

What have you learned at The Mountaineers that you have applied to other parts of your life?

That I can be brave and that I can trust the people supporting me.
