10 Essential Questions:
What first brought you to The Mountaineers?
I wanted to learn the right way to do things with a safety-first mentality. I also wanted to find like-minded individuals to adventure with in the outdoors, and know I could trust their skills. The Mountaineers offers lifelong learning and adventure opportunities.
What's your favorite Mountaineers memory?
My favorite memory is seeing my daughter climb her first rock wall without fear, with The Mountaineers. She climbed in the past but was always very timid after reaching a certain height on the wall. She joined Mountaineers Adventure Club (MAC) and has blossomed in so many ways. The youth leaders in the Mountaineers Youth Programs are golden and so very important to our future land keepers and explorers!
Who/What inspires you?
Living life inspires me. I want to make sure that I enjoy this wonderful planet, experience it to the best of my ability, and slide into home plate exhausted, ragged, and content :)
What does adventure mean to you?
Adventure means growing, learning, finding novelty, being mesmerized, and coming home only to do another adventure ASAP!

Sunset or sunrise? Sunset
Smile or game face? Smile
What's your 11th Essential? My trucker hat
What's your happy place? Dusk with colorful skies, stillness, and cricket and frog symphonies
