10 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:
WHAT FIRST BROUGHT YOU TO THE MOUNTAINEERS?
This quote sums it up for me: "There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature - the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter" -Rache Carson.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MOUNTAINEERS MEMORY?
A Goat Rock backpack led by Larry Holsted. Larry was such a wonderful mentor who leaves a forever impact on my life.
How did you get started as a volunteer?
I was an assistant leader for the B3 backpack program in 2024. One of the most rewarding things for me is to apply my skills learned through The Mountaineers to my other communities, particularly my church. I provide weekly hiking opportunities to find the beauty of the PNW around our community.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO DONATE TO THE MOUTNAINEERS?
I'm inspired by The Mountaineers mission, to aspire to offer outdoor opportunities for all. It's important for me to give to an organization that is committed to building a community where everyone feels belonging.
What impact do you hope to have in our community through your donations?
I hope my donations help create resilient communities that can successfuly address particular needs.
