The North Sound Leadership Conference is just one month away!
As a volunteer-led organization, supporting and empowering outdoor leaders is at the heart of all that we do. The Mountaineers annual leadership conferences are an incredible way to learn from and make meaningful connections with current and aspiring outdoor leaders from across Western Washington and beyond. Whether you’re a seasoned leader or just starting to dip your toe into the outdoors, our leadership conferences will be relevant to you.
Come explore our three learning tracks: Tactical Decisions, Sustainable Impact, and Resilience Strategies (see schedule here). Attendees are welcome to stick to one track or mix and match. We have an incredible lineup of new and returning speakers presenting on vital leadership topics. We are also excited to announce that all conference attendees will be receiving a free Mountaineers camp mug from Miir!
The program will run from 8am-3pm. Registration includes coffee and tea service, free pastries from Macrina Bakery, all-day snacks, and a catered lunch from Frelard Tamales.
Can’t make it out on December 6? No problem! Registration is also open for our South Sound Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the Tacoma Program Center.
North Sound Leadership Conference - December 6, 2025

- Tactical Decisions: Delve into strategies and best practices for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks through expert insights.

- Resilience Strategies: Dig deep into the mental health tools and strategies for outdoor resilience.
