- 12 miles, 5,700 ft gain with an expected round-trip time of 10 hours, approximately 6 hours up, and up to 4 hours down. If this sounds too fast or too slow, this is probably not the right trip for you.
- You must be comfortable glissading, as I don't plan to walk down the mountain. In your permission request, please state the most exciting glissade you have done.
- This trip gets canceled or rescheduled... a lot. Usually, it's because of either a poor weather or avalanche forecast. There's simply no point making the long drive (and climb!) if the weather is garbage. If you are on this trip and it does get rescheduled, you have priority for the rescheduled date (assuming it works for you).
- This is a very strenuous trip. In your permission request, please describe your typical winter conditioning routine.
- In your permission request, include the word GLOWWORM so I know you read these notes!
Marble Mountain Sno-Park at 5AM. In March, you must have a sno-park day pass or season pass (regular). Highly recommend car camping the night before as the snopark is usually packed on weekends. Trying to find a parking spot in the dark is no fun.
