Mount St. Helens/Worm Flows
A scramble of 12 miles with 5,700 feet of gain and the preferred winter route.
GETTING THERE
Take I-5 S and get off at exit 22 to merge onto Dike Access Rd. Merge onto Dike Access Rd, then continue onto Old Pacific Highway. Take a slight left onto E Scott Ave, and at the traffic circle take the 2nd left onto Lewis River Rd. After about 30 miles, Lewis River Rd continues as Rd 90. Take a left at NF-83, and after about 6 miles the Marble Mountain Sno-Park will be on the right.
Notes
- Climbing permits are required and done by lottery with the land manager.
- A Sno-Park parking permit may be needed during month of April for the Marble Mountain Sno-Park.
