Urban Walk - Washington Park Arboretum

Center for Urban Horticulture/Witt Winter Garden Loop Our route begins at the Center for Urban Horticulture and heads to the Montlake Cut. We’ll use the pedestrian walkways at the Montlake/520 interchange for access to the arboretum and spend some time at the Witt Winter Garden before returning to the horticulture center.

This is a loop walk starting at the Center for Urban Horticulture. Our route to the arboretum will take us through the natural area at the center, along the waterfront adjacent to Husky Stadium to the Montlake Cut. We’ll use the pedestrian walkways at the Montlake/520 interchange to access the arboretum. After a short break at the Graham Visitor Center, we'll enjoy a walk through the park and spend some time at the Witt Winter Garden before returning to the CUH.

Meet shortly before 9:30 am with packs on and ready to walk. We will meet by the fountain in the garden area of the CUH. Good metro transit service; refer to transit app for specific routes.
