The small rocky bluff known as Little Si is a moderately graded 3.7 mile trail located in the hike rich North Bend area. Although relatively steep inclines bookend this hike, this primarily north to south route is perfect for beginners who are looking to get build up their endurance.

Please be aware of the pace for which you are comfortable hiking. If summiting Little Si is relatively easy for you and you are accustomed to faster-paced hikes, this is not the hike for you. We will be going travelling between 1.5 and 2.0 mph depending on group dynamics, *with no guarantee we will make the summit*. Conversely, if you have not done any elevation gain and just want to "test the waters" because this is listed as an easy/moderate hike, this may also not be the best fit. The ideal participant for this hike has done 1,500  feet of elevation gain within a month of this hike, albeit slowly - and wants a somewhat greater challenge, at a comfortable pace. We hike as a group.
