In order to adhere to our Covid-19 Safety Precautions, we will be wearing face masks and practicing social distancing throughout this adventure. Parents, please help us keep each other safe by setting expectations with your kiddos ahead of time! And let's be prepared to meet one another with flexibility and grace as we navigate the challenges of modifying our pre-pandemic practices :)

10:00a. Meet at the trailhead at the end of Lake Lucinda Drive SW. Note that you'll drive through a suburb to get to this parking area—don't be alarmed by the houses! You're going in the right direction.
10:10a. After a brief round of introductions and an explanation of our route on the Wetland Forest Loop Trail, which you can preview here, we'll set off on our adventure.
Required Equipment
- A mask (or other suitable face covering) and hand sanitizer to ensure adherence to our Covid Code of Conduct.
- Navigation: map & compass, or GPS.
- Sun protection: sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, sleeves, etc.
- Insulation (extra clothing): the layering system is your friend!
- Illumination: flashlight or headlamp, extra batteries.
- First aid supplies: appropriate to activity, including any necessary medication.
- Fire starter: for absolute emergencies only.
- Gear repair kit and tools, including knife.
- Nutrition (extra food).
- Hydration (extra water).
- Emergency shelter.
