This weekend is about projecting trad routes that are harder than your on-site climbing ability. Applicants should be active volunteers in the Mountaineers and comfortable on-site leading 5.6-5.9 trad. Our goal is to match participants with single-pitch routes at and above their on-site grade, then provide them encouragement and tools they need to overcome the crux safely on top rope. Bonus points if you follow up with a true lead!
Brief application required. Applications will be accepted until September 7, 5pm:
Meeting Friday 9/16 at 8pm at Mamquam River Campground.
