Nisqaully Watershed Festival

The Nisqually Watershed Festival (NWF) is an annual celebration of nature featuring art, discovery, music, science, and family fun. Among the festivities are live performances, displays from local organizations, walking tours, an Insect Extravaganza, storytelling, and more! Multiple snack and lunch options are available including a salmon barbecue. Watch a salmon dissection, listen to traditional stories, learn about reptiles and bats, tour the Refuge trails, make a salmon lifecycle keychain, bring a t-shirt to make a fish print, and get ready for a day of fun! The Olympia Branch of the Mountaineers will be hosting a youth booth with activities and outreach materials. Entrance is free all day. Festival parking will be at the Hawks Prairie Park-n-Ride, 2548 Hogum Bay Rd NE Olympia WA 98516, with a shuttle to the Refuge running every 15 minutes. See you in September!
