Required equipment: Backpack, lunch/snacks, water, harness, helmet, climbing shoes, 10 Essentials

Club climbing equipment will be available for use.

Since this trip is open to non-members, register directly here on this page. For all other  Pathfinders and Explorers registration, use the corresponding course pages.

Every year, Pathfinders and Explorers hosts a Kick-Off Trip which serves as a try-out for prospective new members and a chance for all returning members to get reacquainted with one another over a day of rock climbing and/or hiking.

This trip is community focused and should give anyone new to our programs a good idea of what our culture is like. Interested members need not pay/commit to the club before attending this trip, and will be invited to make their decision to join or not after this trip.
