How To Register Kids for Youth Programs

How To Register Kids for Youth Programs

A guide on how to register your kids for Year Round Programs, Summer Camp, Afterschool, and Outreach Programs.

To register your kids for year round programs, summer camp, afterschool, or outreach programs you need to:

  1. Become a member of The Mountaineers (with either a free guest membership or a paid family membership)
  2. Add your child(ren) to your membership
  3. Register for the program.

Become a Member

To set up a Mountaineers account, visit the the membership page to sign up for a Family membership. Please note, any person under the age of 18 must be on a Family membership or Guest Family Membership. Your child needs an adult associated with their membership, so Student and Adult individual memberships are not what you are looking for.

Add Children to your Membership

In order to add your child(ren) to your family membership, click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen to select "My Profile". When you get to your profile you will see :

screenshotClick on the "Add Family Members" button to bring you to your membership page. Then click on "Add Family Members" again on the next page to complete the addition. Be sure to sign your child's waiver online as well as your own. Please enter your child's birthday and your email address in their email field to receive up to date information and to register for courses; our youth programs are age restricted, so you will not be able to register without a birthdate.

Fill out youth forms

Depending on which program you're registering for determines which youth forms you need to fill out. To get to the youth forms, go to your child's profile and click "Youth Forms" on the blue sidebar found on the left. Most youth forms expire after 1 year, so you'll have to update them each year. Here are the forms need:

  • Youth Information Form
  • Youth Programs Form

You're ready to register

Once you have added your children to your account and filled out their forms, you are ready to register your child for their program by visiting the course page (see links below).

Please note that under the registration is says "You are Registering: Name". If it says your name, please click on your name to open a drop down menu to choose your child's name to ensure that you are registering them and not yourself.

MAC Course Registration

Once it says "You are Registering: Your Child's Name", click Register to complete the registration process!
