This badge recognizes Mountaineers who complete all five Loop Option sections of the Seattle Olmsted 50 route.
ABOUT THE AWARD
The Seattle Olmsted 50 is a 50-kilometer (31-mile) route that connects parks and greenspaces in Seattle. Mountaineers who complete all Loop Options of this route can receive the Seattle Olmsted 50 Loop badge.
HOW TO OBTAIN
- Complete all five Loop Option sections of the Seattle Olmsted 50 with The Mountaineers Urban Walks. With leader permission, walkers may complete one section as a private walk.
- If completing one section as a non-Mountaineers activity, propose trip for approval, walk, then submit a trip report with a photo to the Seattle Urban Walk Committee chair.
- Pass the Seattle Olmsted 50 online quiz, which will be shared by the Seattle Urban Walk Committee chair.
- To receive this badge, members must hold a current Stewardship Credit badge, earned by completing a total of six hours of stewardship.
