2016 All-Branch Kayaking Summit

Each year, we try to ensure that committee leaders from all the branched where an activity is listed gather to address common issues, review minimum standards and safety concerns, and look at opportunities to enhance and improve our programs. The 2014 Kayak Summit had 28 committee leaders in attendance and addressed issues related to the kayaking minimum standards, website issues, how to create and promote an Intermediate Kayaking Course, and areas that subcommittees of interested volunteers could flesh out and study such as youth programs and SK ratings for paddles.
