  • We’ll go over

    • A great way to add (or replace) a tether to your hatch cover, even if there is no attachment point. One that will still allow your cover to seal if the string gets caught in it.
    • Knee bracing is vital to get “purchase” on the boat for edging or rolling. Oftentimes, that’s what’s lacking in executing a bombproof roll. Some boats come with great adjustable bracing, but most do not. We’ll glue in closed cell foam, and I’ll show you how to shape it for the best fit.
    • Kayak stands- These are great both for both washing your boat and for working on it. With the boat elevated and upside down, you can even access points deep under the cockpit. (A hoist can be used to store your boat overhead, or to work on it as well.) I’ll show you the construction and the plans for building your own set out of PVC pipe.
