This will be an overnight clinic, in relatively benign conditions, teaching principals that you may apply to the conditions of your choice.  We will cover basic kayak camping equipment (vs car camping), use of dry bags, how to pack your boat for proper trim, launching and landing a loaded boat, moving a loaded boat to the water's edge, and how to perform rescues with loaded boats. We will have an on-line zoom meeting prior to the on-water weekend to go over principals of kayak camping, including equipment and packing a boat.

This clinic may be utilized as a student paddle at leaders' discretion.

Preference will be given to Tacoma Chapter Students. One week after the registration opens, this preference will be removed.

The registration fee includes one night of shared camping. Sites have been reserved.

Open to mountaineers members only.

Launching from Pomeroy park, Manchester. Time TBD.
