Skookum Flats is a classic and beautiful river hike - going slightly up and down as the trail parallels the White River. There will be an opportunity to scramble up a boot path to view Skookum Falls before finding a lunch spot on a sandbank along the river.
Group will meet at the North trailhead on Forest Road 73 at 9:00 am. Take Highway 410 from Enumclaw and approximately 6 miles past Greenwater turn right onto Forest Road 73. The trail head will be on your right in 1/3 of a mile just after the bridge across the White River.
