Long drive to and from (2 hours each way), exciting geology (to me) of interesting area of our state. We will do the Hummock Trail (a loop - 2.4 miles). Trail has Interpretive signage of the Hummocks. Then we will transition to the Boundary Trail for a distance. flowers, animals?
We will meet at the Park N Ride near Hwy 512 termination and South Tacoma Way, at 7:00 AM, to arrange car pools and begin to drive. 2 hour drive to trailhead.
