***Trip initially open to Winter Hiking Series students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers 7 to 10 days prior to the hike date.***

The pace is listed as 1.8-2.3 mph, but we will adjust to trail/snow conditions and a pace that allows conversations.  Should the weather and or trail conditions work against us, we will discuss  and agree to alternatives as a group.  Other than personal bio-breaks, we will stay together as a group within speaking distance of one another.  Our plan would be to spend no more than 15-20 min. at the objective, rest, and enjoy a snack, prior to returning.

Take Exit 20 (High Point) off of I-90, a few miles east of Issaquah and turn south on 270th Ave SE. Just a few yards south of I-90, turn right onto SE 79th St and continue west. The pavement ends in 0.4 miles where a gate is open each day from dawn until dusk. Continue through the gate and park in the lot of the High Point Trailhead. If you arrive before dawn or plan to come out after dusk, park on the road east of the gate.

The plan is to meet at the High Point trailhead at 7:45 AM on Saturday the 21st for a quick hike meet-n-greet and be on the trail by 8 AM.
