The Gear Library Presents: Prepare!

Join us for an outdoor cooking show and learn how to make four different lightweight backpacking meals! This event is free and open to everyone.
21 ( 30 capacity)

If you are a fan of traditional cooking shows, don't miss this outdoor edition! We will demonstrate how to make four delicious backpacking meals that require only boiling water to cook. You don't need a dehydrater for these recipes! They'll add some variety to your backpacking menus if you currently mostly eat store-bought dehydrated dinners. RSVP for this event to watch. The link will be sent at 5 pm on June 16th.

ABOUT THE GEAR LIBRARY

The Mountaineers' Gear Library is full of equipment for hiking, car camping, backpacking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Youth groups can borrow this gear for free. The Mountaineers believes everyone should have equal access to the outdoors and feel comfortable in the elements. By providing free gear and training through Washington Trails Association, we aim to decrease barriers that prevent youth from exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest
