The Foothills Backpacking Committee is pleased to sponsor an evening with Conservation Northwest as we learn from Washington & U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service staff about the return of the grizzly bear to the North Cascades and how to be bear aware while enjoying the great outdoors!
- Experts from the Washington & U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will give an overview of the reintroduction process and provide attendees with best practices for recreating in bear country.
- Experts will also share information on grizzly bear biology, behavior, and history in the North Cascades.
- Come with your questions for the Q&A portion of the event!
Join us for an engaging and informative event that will include a raffle!
