Glacier Peak is one of the five volcanoes of the state of Washington, and ranks 5th highest on the Bulger List. Mountaineers climbing and kayak leader, Tom Unger, will be sharing insights from his 5 climbs of Glacier Peak, which include 4 carry-overs and one time sleeping in the crater. From Tom’s feature in Mountaineers Magazine in 2018: “Tom Unger has been hiking, climbing, skiing, paddling, and sailing up and down the west coast for 25 years. He’s widely praised by students and participants for his outstanding communications, group facilitation, instruction, and collaborative leadership.”
