Summer Camp - Water Week 1

A fun-filled camp of water-based activities including sailing, rafting, and kayaking!

Get out your swimsuits and goggles, we're starting off the summer with a splash!

Campers ages 6-12 are invited to join The Mountaineers for a week packed with traditional camp games, songs and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure. Each week consists of rock climbing, outdoor skills, crafts, and swimming. Additionally, every week has a field trip, special activity, and/or outdoor adventures relating to the given theme.

Water Adventures Week, features an awesome field trip to the Outdoor Activities Center in Index to go white water rafting down the Skykomish. Campers ages 6-8 will go on Wednesday and campers 9+ will go on Thursday. (Be prepared to pick your camper up late on their field trip day due to the nature of this activity.)

Campers will also go sailing with Sail Sand Point and kayaking on Lake Washington. Can't wait to see you out on the water!

 

Logistics:

  • Open enrollment begins February 5
  • Drop off: 8:45 - 9:00
  • Pick up: 3:50 - 4:00
  • AM extended care starts at 7:45am (Tuesday-Friday)
  • PM extended care runs until 5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Family Day (optional): Friday 3:00 - 4:00
  • *Please note: all outdoor activities are weather and condition dependent*
