Seattle MAC - Cross-Country Ski

Youth activity: Mountaineers Adventure Club

Seattle MAC - Cross-Country Ski - North Cascades Mountain Hostel

MAC usually spends the long MLK Day weekend cross-country skiing in Winthrop/Mazama, staying all together in a hostel. Obviously, the trip will look different because of COVID, but we will still try to do some skiing this weekend.

Group typically departs Friday afternoon/evening and returns Monday, midday. See trip sheet for full details when it is released within two weeks of the trip.

It is unlikely our normal program of staying in the hostel together will be possible for this trip due to COVID, but there are other possibilities. Separate lodging and skiing in small groups. A conversation about how we will still run this very fun, memorable, quintessentially MAC trip will be ongoing throughout the fall.

Please let me know if you have any ideas about how we can adapt this trip to a post-COVID world.
