One version of the itinerary: 

Prerequisites: Attendance at 3 or more conditioning hikes throughout the year. Leaders for these trips will assess student fitness levels throughout conditioning hikes and other MAC activities. If you are looking to sign up for these, make it your mission to do as much hiking as possible throughout the year. 

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course/badge. 

Students must have demonstrated fitness throughout other MAC activities and may be asked to answer certain questions to give the leader an idea of their fitness/ability/experience level.  Participants will be chosen at the trip leaders discretion and the above are minimum requirements which do not guarantee a space on the trip.
