February GoWalk! L4 Urban Walks: 3 to 7 miles, 400 to 750 feet of elevation gain - Seattle Olmsted 50: Section 4

Seattle Olmsted 50 Section 4 Loop Option starts/finishes at Washington Park Playfield following Lake Washington Boulevard to Madrona with a return above the lake to Madison Park. We finish up then down Madison Street to the Arboretum.

  • Easy/Moderate
  • Easy
  • Mileage: 4.8 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 538 ft
  • Pace: 1.5-2

This Loop Option for Section 4 is a bit shorter than the full Section 4.  Some might call in "The Splendid Homes and Wonderful Views" walk.  It does not count towards the Seattle Olmsted 50 badge -- we don't head up to Frink Park but do explore Madison Park and Beach,.

Meet outside the bathroom block in Washington Park Playfield (near corner Madison Street and Lake Washington Boulevard). Free parking and bus service along Madison.
