Basic Snowshoeing Field Trip Preview - Online Classroom

This is a short online session to  discuss preparations for snowshoeing trips, by discussing the upcoming Basic Snowshoeing Field Trips.

As a group we will:

• Review the weekend's weather forecast and NWAC Avalanche Forecast.
• Go over the general plan and objectives for the day.
• Split into breakout groups for small group discussions of logistics for the Field Trip, including review of the route and current weather and avalanche forecasts.
• Answer questions.

Please note that the purpose of this session is to review how to prepare for snowshoeing trips, using the planned Field Trip route as an example. This session is not intended to  organize breakout groups based on individual student field trips dates, nor to discuss carpooling arrangements. An email with information on how to arrange carpools yourselves will be sent out prior to the Field Trips.
