Meet at the Juanita  Aquatic Center in Kirkland at 8:30 am.  The training session runs from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Our practice session is scheduled from 9 AM to 1 PM , Sunday the 8th of April and will occur in the same pool we’ll be teaching in 2 weeks later. That is the Juanita pool at 10601 NE 132nd St in Kirkland.

Bring your own gear if you can (if not there are enough to share for purposes of the training) and be ready to move into the pool at 9 so we can start promptly and use our time as effectively as possible. Dress for the pool and for exit and rescue practice. In addition to pool wear, the gear list would include sea kayak, paddle, paddle float, bilge pump, and optionally nose plugs, goggles, gloves. If you have a rescue sling/strap, pleased bring that as well.

After the practice we will have a group lunch (no charge) at a nearby restaurant. I know there are a few experienced instructors that are unable to make this review session but will still be there to help on the 22nd. If there are any schedule conflicts or changes that have not yet been communicated to me, please email and let me know.
