Leader's notes
This clinic is an Introduction to Rock Gardening; and will cover the skills, rescues, and safety considerations utilized to play in the inter-tidal zone. Includes practicing rescues and learning how to modify them for the conditions encountered. We will work on directional control strokes, blended strokes and application for the dynamic environment.

An incident management clinic, which covers rescues and towing is required prior to taking this clinic.

This clinic may be taken using a fiberglass or thermoform boat, but using a plastic boat is strongly advised, as you may be bouncing off and scraping along rocks and barnacles.

Additional requirements: helmet and full finger gloves.

Meeting place and time

Warmhouse Cafe jetty, Neah Bay. Boats on the beach, suited, and ready to paddle at 9 AM.
