CHS 1 or 2 - Day Hike to Frog Mountain

Frog Mountain has examples of all the most delicious berries native to the Pacific Northwest. For this CHS “just for fun hike”, we will keep a brisk pace, but will stop every so often to nibble on selected fare. Hike is around 7.5 miles and around 2,100 feet of gain.

At lower elevations we will find wild strawberries, trailing blackberries, oval-leaf blueberries, red huckleberries and thimbleberries. At higher elevations we will find black huckleberries and eventually a peak packed with a delicacy of cascade bilberries. Join us for majestic views and tasty foods!
