  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 5.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,000 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 2,500 ft
  • Pace: 2-3 MPH

CHS 2 pacing hike.  Our moving pace will be about 2.0 mph or maybe a bit faster.   If you find this climbing pace to be challenging, then CHS1 hikes would be a good choice.  If you find this pace comfortable, then you could think about CHS2 hikes.

Meet at 8am at High Point Way Trailhead (I-90, exit 20).  You will need a Discover Pass to park in the trailhead lot. We will plan to start hiking no later than 8:15am.   We will make short stops every hour or so for a snack, hydration, etc.  We will also spend some time relaxing at the summit if weather permits.
